Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities
Reviews computer logs, electronic log in a timely manner, for orders received or required to ship.
Generates bills of lading for all material shipped from SMP.
Ensures the correct material is loaded at lines or on trucks and performs the final load and quality audits on all material received in & shipped from SMP. Includes verification of part orientation on shipping pallet against Shipping Drawing binder stored Shipping Office.
Ensures compliance with all relevant government and company regulations.
Ships all material out of SMP and scans loads as required.
Creates shipping tags as per customer requirements
Faxes incoming and outgoing bills of lading to customers.
Updates and maintains Receiving / Ship log inquiry and maintenance.
Co-orientates of transportation for outgoing finished goods.
Maintains neat and accurate records of outgoing materials.
Generates daily delivery performance report and updates master spread sheet.
Communicate with Production Supervisors and Material Handlers regarding any required audits.
Reconcile Production documents when required.
Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor
General
Complies with the designated IATF16949 responsibilities, environmental management system, health & safety and company rules and guidelines.
Ensures company safety policies are adhered to and all department personnel and visitors utilize safe work habits. Wears personal protective equipment (PPE) as always required
Maintains a high standard of general housekeeping consistent with 5S standards
Strives for continuous improvement
Position Qualifications
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and/or 3 years of job-related experience.
