Operations Manager at Clarios, LLC in Holland, Michigan

Job Description:

What you will do:

The position is responsible for planning and directing operations, quality and continuous improvement activities for the Powersport Team located in Holland Michigan. The individual will lead all parts of the operation ensuring that the team is meeting all safety, customer and cost targets.

How you will do it:

• Establishes annual operations and financial targets with the assistance of the Operations Supply Chain Director, finance, and commercial teams.




• Leads the operational planning and monthly reporting of business metrics including safety, quality, delivery and cost.




• Drives daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics to ensure budgetary requirements are achieved.




• Assures compliance with Company and Plant policies, health and safety standards, environmental regulations, hazardous waste, and good housekeeping practices.




• Continuously reviews ongoing performance within Powersport and takes action to assure achievement of goals.

What we look for:
Required:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Engineering Technology or related field 




• Minimum 2 years experience in a leadership position




• Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing environment.  

Preferred:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clear and concise information to varied levels within the organization




• Understands Lean/CI Tools.
