Origination Operator 2nd Shift at ORBIS Corporation in Piedmont, South Carolina

Job Description:

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate machinery within the Processing department with high quality and efficiency.


• Stage raw materials at the work center for the day's production.


• Load and unload machines, crane, jib crane, etc. Verify machine settings by measuring positions and first-run parts.


• Inspect and measure parts to ensure blueprint specifications are met.


• Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).


• Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.


• Contribute to a team effort.


• Maintain safe and clean work space.


• Other duties as assigned.

Work Experience:

• 1 plus year of relevant work experience


• Machine Operator experience
