Position: EEO Specialist

Location: Washington D.C 

Work Environment: Remote 

Clearance: Secret

Salary Range: $85,000-$100,000/year

Knowesis is currently seeking an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Specialist for a proposed contract with a Federal agency.

This position requires a Secret clearance and U.S. Citizenship (applicants without proof of U.S. citizenship without the need for sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered due to the position's security requirement).

The Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Conduct pre-complaint EEO counseling per MD-110.


• Identify and gather relevant information.


• Analyze findings and make recommendations.


• Draft reports and acceptance/dismissal letters.


• Coordinate and facilitate the resolution of EEO disputes.


• Conduct workforce analyses to identify workplace barriers.


• Compile and analyze data to prepare quarterly and annual reports.

Required Qualifications:

• In-depth understanding of federal Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws and regulations, including but not limited to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA).


• Strong writing skills with the ability to draft accurate, clear, and concise reports, and demonstrate attention to detail.


• Familiarity with all stages of the EEO complaint process.


• Demonstrated experience in providing EEO counseling.


• Capable of effectively conveying complex information to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using conflict resolution techniques (e.g. mediation, conflict coaching)

Certifications:

• EEO Counselor certificate

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
