Assistant Professor - Math Education and Assessment at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in Stevens Point, Wisconsin

Job Description:

The successful candidate for this position will teach undergraduate courses in early childhood, elementary, and middle level math methods and in education assessment for students seeking licensure in grades PK-9 who are majoring in one or more of the following areas: elementary, early childhood, and/or special education. There may be opportunities to teach related courses at the graduate level in the masters and/or doctoral programs. The ability to develop and maintain collaborative and productive working relationships with the Elementary Methods Block Faculty Team and with local school systems is required. Other responsibilities include department and other level service activities, advising, mentoring, professional development. Student teacher supervision may also be a part of the teaching load. This is a nine-month academic year appointment. Summer teaching may be available.
