The Case Manager (Registered Nurse) is pivotal in coordinating and managing healthcare services for our members. This role requires RN licensure and certification, with current unrestricted licensure in the applicable state. The Case Manager is instrumental in identifying, coordinating, or providing appropriate levels of care under the direct supervision of an RN or MD. Responsibilities include clinical operations, case management, care coordination, and medical management consulting. Additionally, this role involves providing health education, coaching, and treatment decision support for members. Job Scope: - Assesses and interprets customer needs and requirements. - Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems. - Solves moderately complex problems and conducts moderately complex analyses. - Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks. - Provides explanations and information to others on difficult issues. Requirements: - Current, unrestricted RN licensure. - 3 or more years of Clinical RN experience, resulting in excellent clinical skills and judgment. - Strong inbound and outbound telephonic skills. - Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Internet). - Ability to navigate a Windows environment and manage documents using Microsoft Word. - Understanding of change and ability to move members along the continuum of change. - Intermediate or expert level of proficiency in assessing and identifying needs, and in influencing and motivating. - Conflict management skills. - Ability to work under pressure and prioritize responsibilities.
