Cenovus is looking for an HR Advisor for our Lima, OH location. Reporting to the Senior Manager, HR, this individual will support employee and leader inquiries, manage data in the HR system, and process employee life cycle events (i.e., leave of absence, retirement, hire, reorganization) and other employee data changes as part of the US HR Operations team.

What you'll do:
Support employee and leader enquiries about all aspects of HR management.
Manage data integrity in the HR and Payroll systems.
Process employee life cycle events (i.e. hire, retirements, resignations, reorganization, transfers).
Triage and execute Service Now tickets across a wide scope of HR and HR related processes.
Evaluating and updating job descriptions.
Training and advising managers on strategies for position management, selection, and compensation strategy.
Using HR software to input and compile data on employees and updating the records regularly.
Updating HR policies in line with current legislation and informing staff about changes.
Support other HR function of Site and Regional locations as needed.
Who you are:
Post-Secondary Degree combined with 3+ years of direct HR experience.
Preferred:
Superior organization skills, along with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
Exceptional customer service skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to contribute to decisions and recommendations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication (written & verbal) skills Ability to move quickly in fast paced environment.
Experience with Workday, Success Factors or other HRIS systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and TEAMS)
