Job Description Summary
Assists Case Printer Operator in printing cases for different products packaged at the facility.
Job Description
- Print cases as assigned by the specific shop orders provided from the scheduler.
- Read and follow the specification sheets provided by Quality Assurance department.
- Stage poly for daily production use and return all poly to warehouse after daily production completed.
- Return any unused printed cases from production to warehouse after items are packed.
- Maintain inventory for all case print dies.
- Maintain accurate paperwork for tracking purposes.
- Enter shop order information data into computer system.
- Operate forklift and other material handling equipment to transport materials and product.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Education/Certifications:
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent preferred
Skills and Experience:
- Entry level - no experience required
- Basic computer skills
- Able to read and follow the production schedule by line, to ensure that production has the cases required to run on the lines.
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid Driver's License and driving record that meets Lamb Weston Driving Standards
Physical Environment/Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.
- Exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hot to cold in temperature
- Exposure to manufacturing environments for up to 12 hours per work day to include: loud noise, excessive heat, cold, wet, slippery conditions, dirt, fumes, smoke, smells and allergies
- Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements required for job actions and procedures.
- Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment.
- Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places to perform job duties.Ability to operate work related equipment
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
