Job Description:

SARSTEDT, a leading manufacturer and distributor of blood collection and medical devices, laboratory consumables and instrumentation, seeks a Customer Service Representative for its US Headquarter.



Shift: Day Shift



Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Monday - Friday)



Department: Customer Service



Summary



Provides support to the company's customers and employees through professional, efficient, and accurate written and oral communication.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities


Responsible for entering customer orders into the system and sending order confirmations to customers via email or by phone.


Responsible for processing electronic orders through web portal applications.


Processes new customer accounts by obtaining/maintaining updated customer contact information including physical and email addresses for all active customers. This includes specifics contacts for accounting (collections) efforts.


Handling customer service inquiries, and processing customer returns.


Addresses complaints concerning billing or order errors, referring complaints to appropriate departments for investigation.


Sets up and manages paper or electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, or maintaining documents.


Processes customer returns and researching, documenting, and entering credit memos/invoices corrections. Scan and file related documentation.


Provide customers with copies of invoices, packing slips, and other documentation upon request.



Education and/or Experience


High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training.
