Job Description:

Position: Accounting Manager (DIRECT HIRE)



Requirements:

• Must have at least 5 years of high volume, full cycle accounting experience


• Extensive knowledge of Debits and Credits


• Team player, personable, and the ability to build rapport with all departments (not just accounting)


• Ability to travel to different locations quarterly

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly financial statements and provide summary analysis and management commentary.


• Manage monthly general ledger close.


• Confirm revenue postings, including manufacturer-direct invoicing, are complete and accurate.


• Perform general ledger entries, account reconciliations and month-end accruals.


• Post semi-monthly payroll entries and daily or periodic lock box, ACH and credit card transactions.


• Ensure compliance to GAAP and other Federal, State, and local policies.


• Prepare and file 1099, 1096, Property Tax, and Sales Tax and Use Tax reports.


• Reconcile and maintain Fixed Asset schedules.


• Review, maintain, and establish internal controls necessary to produce timely and accurate financial reporting.


• Monitor, manage and forecast cash flow and cash requirements.


• Set up and maintain ACH and wire transactions.


• Reconcile and resolve account, customer, and vendor discrepancies.
