Job Description: As an on-call Physical Therapy Assistant at Marysville Post Acute, you will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to assist in providing therapeutic treatments to residents. You will help improve their mobility, alleviate pain, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans


• Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to residents


• Monitor and document residents' progress


• Educate residents and their families on home exercises and mobility strategies


• Maintain a clean and organized therapy area


• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program


• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant


• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation facility preferred


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Flexible availability to work on-call as needed
