Position Overview:

The A&A Practice Leader is responsible for driving process consistency within our CPA Solution team. This role will be results-oriented while generating energy and excitement in the group, driving the Audit Team into the future. You will develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure we are operating as "One Firm." As a leader within the CPA Solution, you will help steer the Audit Team towards creating new and innovative ways to add value to client interactions.

Responsibilities:
Ensure the team is operating with a "One Firm" mindsetDevelop consistent and efficient processes and procedures and roll out to the departmentCollaborate with the Training & Development Manager to provide relevant and effective training and education opportunitiesRun meetings for the audit departmentLead and participate in Lean process improvements, share best practices throughout departmentOversee the determination of best practices for the audit team, including technical training and software selectionSuggest new product offerings and specialty services based on market trends to keep the solution currentMonitor regulatory changes and communicate internally with team and externally with clientsEnsure quality control to regulatory standardsCreate an environment which produces high employee engagement for our team members

Qualifications:
A bachelors degree in accounting preferredMasters in accounting, business, management, or finance are preferred10+ years of professional services experience with a record of high achievement a plusKnowledge of the CPA services industry is requiredAbility to combine innovation with routine tasks, without losing sight of deadlines and objectivesPerformance and results oriented, for self and organizationEnergetic, positive, dynamic and confidentAble to lead and motivate othersCreative problem solver and strategic thinkerSelf-disciplined, sense of urgency to hit deadlinesSolid communicator, experience with public speaking a plusBelieves in continuous improvement and seeking educational opportunitiesComputer literate with proficiency in Microsoft office products and applicable tax/audit softwareAbility to influence non-reports to accomplish goals and to-dosAbility to see big picture and help others to improve existing processes or develop new processes
