Job Description:

SUMMARY: Packaging Associate II is responsible for packaging and labeling products in support of the manufacturing department and able to train other Packaging Associates. Communication, Positivity, Coaching and Training are key components for this position. This position reports to the Production Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Maintain a positive and supportive work culture, with a focus on efficiency and productivity

Ensure all products are prepared to standard and meet quality, productivity, and GMP standards
Train all new packagers. Provide real time feedback/coaching for new and current operators
Participate in transition of new products from Product Innovation to Manufacturing
Maintain accurate, reliable record keeping and data collection (Hour-by-Hour board, Master Batch Records, formula cards, 5S sheets, time trials etc.)
Utilizes Microsoft office products to maintain data files, create documentation and communicate regularly.
Retrieve and restock all necessary materials to complete daily goals
Communicate issues (quality, performance, interpersonal) to Group Leader or Production Manager
Constant communication with the team promoting positivity in the workplace and conveying a positive attitude towards the company
Cycle-count raw material inventory on a weekly basis.
Work overtime when necessary
Drive production to complete daily goals. Fill in for missing employees to keep line running
Execute timely and efficient changeover when moving to a new task
Audit Standard Work to reflect the workflow/processes
Strong Communication skills

***Internal Candidates*** Required: 3+ months experience at Curio Millpark as a Packaging Associate I or cross-trained in Packaging over 6 months and have no current Corrective Actions for Performance, Attitude, nor Attendance
