Job Description Summary
This position is responsible for grading finished product and supporting FSQ programs for Boardman Pack Center.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Test quality of finished product using written standards
- Examine characteristics of finished product - color, blemishes, defects
- Record data on a computer-based program
- Audit production processes - bag seals, product codes, etc.
- Clean and maintain laboratory equipment
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Maintain a neat and clean work area at all times and exhibit good personal hygiene.
- Report any concerns to QA Leadership Team
- Participate in training new team members
- Perform all duties associated with assigned lines
- Maintain a neat and clean work area at all times, and exhibit good personal hygiene.
- Ability to work overtime when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the QA Manager.

Skills and Experience:
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Must be able to use a computer for data entry, report generation and research.
- Ability to effectively present information to supervisors and other employees.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Read, understand, and obey all plant rules and practice safety as outlined in the employee handbook.
Physical Environment/Demands:
- Be able to sit, stand, walk, and climb.
- Have good hand-eye coordination.
- Have normal finger dexterity and range of motion.
- Be able to lift up to 10 - 20lbs
- Have specific vision abilities required by this job, which include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Required to reach with his/her hands and arms repetitively.
- May be occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.
- Will work around forklift traffic.
- Noise level is high.
- Will work in cold or freezing environments on and off.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. A reasonable hourly estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $19.50
