Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as an Early Childhood Mental Health Behavior Support Specialist at Behavioral Health Network!

Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (ECMHC) program with the following:


  • Provide 1:1 direct coaching to educators and families based on the success plan developed by the ECMH consultant.

  • Implement success plans prepared and maintained by the ECMH consultant.

  • Monitor progress on success plan implementation and report back to the consultant.

  • Collaboration with other service providers.

Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation Program

Early Childhood Behavior Support Specialists provide consultation across Hampden County to programs serving children under the age of 14 who have been referred through the Department of Early Education and Care Mental Health Consultation grant program.

What are we looking for in an Early Childhood Behavior Support Specialist?



Qualifications/Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree and one (1) year experience working with youth and families who require behavior management to address mental health needs using treatments based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

  • OR an Associate's degree and minimum of two (2) years of relevant direct service experience working with youth and families who require behavior management to address mental health needs using treatments based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

  • Registered Behavior Technician Certification preferred, but certification will be trained and compensated for qualified candidates during time of employment if not certified.
