Job Description:

The assistant dean and head of school administers the School of Education and its subunits to fulfill the educational mission of the school and to ensure the most efficient and equitable use of available resources. The assistant dean is responsible for providing leadership to the school in all matters relating to academic programs, personnel, professional development, advancement, university and community relations, budget, facilities, and student success. The assistant dean reports to the dean of the college and serves as a member of the colleges leadership team.

Additionally, this candidate must have a strong background and knowledge of Wisconsin State Department of Public Instruction Chapter PI 34, or demonstrated ability to learn, implement, and meet state standards that regulate educator preparation programs and educator licensures.
