Job Description:

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work in a safe and efficient manner using all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), safety devices or equipment that is required in accordance with all Standard Work documentation. (If Standard Work is not developed for this job, proper trained techniques must be followed.)


• Repair and maintain machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.


• Perform routine preventative maintenance on processing equipment, processing support equipment, utility support equipment, and facility related machinery and equipment.


• Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts, fabricate parts when needed, adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.


• Follow blueprints, specifications, diagrams, and service manuals to repair and maintain equipment. Repair broken parts using brazing, soldering, and welding equipment and hand tools.


• Prepare maintenance reports, document, and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs using EAM.


• Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required.


• Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain all CI, 5S and STW activities.


• Other duties as assigned.

Education:

• (Required) High School Diploma or Equivalent


• (Desired) Vocational/Technical Degree

Work Experience:

Required

• 2-5 years of relevant work experience

• Hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting


• Blueprint reading


• 2-5 year's demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrial maintenance
