The Financial Analyst, FP&A will be responsible for all aspects of statistical gathering and financial analysis of all significant financial business strategies. The analyst will be critical in the supporting role of developing and analyzing the operating and capital budgets.\n

\n• Experience with business analytics concepts and techniques (pivot tables, databases, SQL queries, pro-formas)

• One (1) year Finance experience (decision support/business analytics/productivity/performance metrics)

• Experience writing queries in SQL

• Demonstrates excellent organizational skills/abilities

• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

• Ability to effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner

• One (1) year Finance experience in an acute care hospital

• Experience with investment returns, cash flow, product line evaluation and capital additions.

• Bachelor's Degree required or Master's Degree in Business Administration preferred


  • Applies thorough knowledge of clinical and financial analysis and systems technology to identify and design solutions within the decision support and quality systems.

  • Participates in the development and improvement of the company's business data and collection processes.

  • Helps provide financial analysis on all matters of potentially significant financial impact to the company, including investment returns, cash flow, product line evaluation, and capital additions.

  • Prepares, monitors, and reports financial and operational performance by service line and payer.

  • Prepares and audits monthly metrics reports. Provides Ad Hoc reporting and analysis.

  • Supports audit and OSHPD inquiries.

  • Assists in the development of operating and capital budgets.

  • Assists monthly financial close in identifying variances by the department and following up on corrective action with appropriate personnel.

  • Creates performance dashboards and reports that monitor business productivity and efficiency on a regular basis to ensure efficient and accurate reporting.

  • Assists in the design and creation of reporting tools and new financial reports.

  • Gathers, develops, coordinates, and maintains business requirements for various projects and/or systems from the initial phase to final implementation.

  • Partners with various lines of business and departments to help manage change and understand the operational impact.

  • Maintains and communicates project status reports and tracking, delivering projects timely.
