The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Healthcare Integration Specialist performs tasks which require knowledge of Six Sigma philosophies and principles, including supporting systems and tools; an understanding of team dynamics and how to assign team member roles and responsibilities based on a thorough understanding of all aspects of the DMAIC model in accordance with Six Sigma principles; and Lean enterprise concepts, with the ability to identify non-value-added elements and activities using specific tools related to Lean and Six Sigma. In this role, you will lead strategic initiatives to integrate new processes into existing workflows, driving operational efficiency, quality enhancement, and cost reduction across our clients healthcare organization. Tasks may include employing quality management systems, tools, and techniques to help organizations transform, including, but not limited to Lean Six Sigma (LSS), CMMI, and ISO 9000/9001.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead and manage complex process improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma principles within a healthcare environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze existing processes, identify improvement opportunities, and develop innovative solutions. Implement new processes that align with organizational objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Utilize advanced data analysis and statistical methods to measure process performance and validate improvements. Champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the organization. Facilitate change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies. Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on Lean Six Sigma principles and process changes. Monitor and report on project progress, milestones, and KPIs to senior management and stakeholders. Provide leadership and mentorship to Lean Six Sigma Green Belts and project teams.
