Summary of Role

The Facilities Technician I is accountable for driving results in a fast-paced environment by assisting to keep the facility in working order. The Facilities Technician I responsibilities typically include performing minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting tasks. They may also handle tasks like furniture assembly, appliance repair, basic landscaping, and general facility upkeep. The Facilities Technician works collaboratively to support all departments as required. The position requires execution of the Sterling Values and non-negotiables, as well as expertise in functional competencies included in this position profile.



Your Responsibilities

• Complete Minor carpentry, painting, and facility renovation tasks as requested


• Perform minor electrical and plumbing tasks per work orders.


• Assemble new furniture and equipment and complete all other facility related work orders as requested.


• Create and follow maintenance standard operating procedures (SOPs) and complete Work Orders.


• Maintains a safe and clean work environment


• Follows all internal safety practices and OSHA regulations.


• Provides excellent customer service to internal client groups.


• Ensures timely completion and compliance with cGMP and all other relevant company training requirements.

Requirements for the Role

• High School Diploma or GED.


• Relevant work experience in Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing industry preferred.


• Can effectively operate various tools and equipment to complete assignments.


• Organize and prioritize work, thinking assignments through to completion.
