Our South Division is looking to add a Marketing Pursuit Manager to our staff to support current and ongoing projects.

This position can be based anywhere in the NC, SC, FL or GA.

Job Summary


  • Manages marketing efforts in support of Market business development activities including pursuit & capture planning, RFP analysis, proposal management and development, approach strategies, go-no-go decisions, and short-list presentations.

  • Works with assigned Market leaders as needed. Assists with market research to support company business objectives.

  • Updates marketing information systems including Project Manager resumes for effective project team development.

  • Responsible for pursuit planning and cost management to develop new proactive pursuits and wins adhering to KMS quality control procedures.

  • Manages assigned staff. Works independently or in conjunction with senior management/executive staff.

  • Uses knowledge of industry and/or professional guidelines and protocols to accomplish goals and objectives and solve abstract problems/difficult matters.

Experience and Academic Requirements

* Associates Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering and Science or related field required.
* Bachelor’s degree preferred.
* Experience: 7 - 8 years of related experience, 4 - 5 years of professional marketing and/or sales experience in consulting engineering firm or related service business. 2 - 3 years of coordination,
supervisory or project management experience preferred.

* Certification/Registrations

Other Knowledge and Skills

* Proficient with DiSC and how to adapt presentations to audience.

* Excellent project management and time management skills.

* Advanced knowledge in KMS Green and Blue lines.
* Comprehensive knowledge of assigned market.
