Project Coordinator

We're seeking a Project Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. As the primary point of contact in assigned territories, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our projects from inception to shipment.
Basic Job Functions:
Order Management: Manage scope, price, schedule, and Builder relationships to ensure projects run smoothly and meet all requirements.
Change Management: Proactively handle changes in all assigned projects, ensuring timely responses, thorough documentation, and clear communication.
Balancing Customer and Internal Needs: Work to balance customer needs with internal efficiencies to maximize resources while satisfying customer requirements.
Price/Scope Checks: Complete thorough price and scope checks on every project to ensure the quoted scope matches the sold order and all changes are properly accounted for.
Develop and Execute Change Orders: Develop change order scopes and pricing levels as projects require.
Conducting Project Meetings: Lead project meetings with Builders and NBS personnel to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Prior Sales or Project Management Experience in the Construction Industry or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least four years prior experience in a sales or project management role within the metal building or construction industry.
Prior Technical Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Construction, or Engineering related fields.
Basic commercial understanding as well as ability to read and interpret contract documents
