Position:  The Part Time Junior Developer performs a wide range of duties to support Ace’s software development efforts.  Expected work hours are 20-25 hours per week.

Priorities:

• Coding in Javascript, CSS, HTML, C#, Python and Powershell


• Collaborates with management, departments and customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications


• Knowledge and experience in Agile Methodology, lifecycle, and best practices


• Experience testing, deploying, debugging and supporting custom software applications


• Assist in projects in process automation, mobile development and other web-based services

The pay rate is $22 per hour.  Starting pay rate is based on criteria such as location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable agreement. Dependent on the length of service, hours worked, and applicable agreements, benefits include sick pay of 2.66 hours for every 80 hours worked and retirement benefits.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): The following are required to enable job holders to perform the essential functions of the job.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred


• Demonstrated software portfolio of work


• 1+ years related work experience

Technology Skills:

• Strong mobile-first design experience (apps, responsive web design, etc)


• Strong knowledge of networking concepts and best practices


• Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, virtualized, containerized, and cloud environments


• Strong knowledge of software engineering technologies and development languages, including but not limited to: Javascript, Python, C#, CSS, HTML, and Powershell.


• Knowledge of Azure PaaS functions, such as LogicApps and Cosmos.
