Data Center Site Coordinator at Meta in Hillsboro, Oregon

Job Description:

Meta is seeking an individual skilled across multiple disciplines to support the local Site Teams. The Site Coordinator will lead the execution of various events, including planning and logistics for key milestones enabling the teams onsite. The person will be a culture carrier and should enjoy working in a complex, highly active environment where innovative design, planning, execution, and communication is key to their success.The Site Coordinator will work very closely with the Data Center Site Manager, the Facilities Manager, and other Site Leadership to ensure all facets of the day-to-day operational needs are met.



Data Center Site Coordinator Responsibilities:



  • Engage on site specific special projects and organizational developed projects

  • Assist with and coordinate site tours and visits where applicable

  • Assist with and execute site development projects with the Data Center Site Manager and team

  • Ensure the organization and cleanliness of the data center

  • Assist with set-up, moves, and configuration changes & providing miscellaneous supplies as needed

  • Maintain onsite contact lists

  • Responsible for all employee events on and offsite

  • Work directly with the Global Events team on corporate planned events

  • Assist with and schedule onsite professional training classes

  • Support the Site Manager and Community Development team with community events and media appearances, as needed

  • Supports the community grants program for your area in collaboration with the Community Development Team

  • Coordinate community outreach opportunities for your DC team in collaboration with the Community Development Team

  • Track and report on budgets and projects

  • Analyze/Track/Action Open PO's in conjunction with our Supply Chain Operations (SCO) Team

  • Work directly with corporate Procurement Operations to on board and order from various vendors used at the Data Center

  • Assist in the management of the culinary and micro kitchen teams

  • Identify with SCO and track non-critical vendor KPIs





Minimum Qualifications:



  • 3+ years of project manager/office manager experience

  • Event planning experience

  • Budget management experience

  • Planning, organizing and time management experience

  • Experience with office productivity software such as Google Docs and Microsoft Office

  • Experience in team building

  • Effective communication skills

  • Experience handling confidential information





Preferred Qualifications:



  • Knowledge of business and management principles

  • Experience both working independently and creating strong partnerships

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy

  • Adaptable in a dynamic environment

$40.79/hour to $136,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits


Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
