Job Description:

Sierra7, Inc. is seeking a Accessibility Compliance Expert (Tester) to conduct manual testing and audits on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for compliance with the Revised 508 Standards and 255 Guidelines (www.access- board.gov). The successful candidate will have familiarity with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and Web Content Access Guide (WCAG) 2.0 A and AA.
Position Responsibilities:
Perform end-to-end manual testing using assistive technologies.Perform United States Access Boards Section 508 Standards assessments applying to ICT ConductDocument and report audits using standardized procedures, initially validating ICT Product assessment packages, before confirming and coordinating access to subject ICT products and environmentsManually audit 508 compliances to ensure ICT and AT maintains Section 508 Technology Accessibility Standards and Telecommunications Act Accessibility Guidelines under Section 255 of the Communications Act of 1934Conduct a quality assurance workflow check to review and validate completed ICT assessments for process and informational thoroughness and accuracyPrepare and submit a Compliance Audit Report through the VA- accessible Compliance Tracking SystemComplete manual audit requirements, milestones, and deliverablesUse assistive technology tools, such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, and speech recognition softwareOperate in multiple environments including applications written in a variety of software languages
