Sales Analyst, Ahold Delhaize - Mars Petcare

Franklin, TN

The Sales Analyst will help to deliver our Ahold Delhaize team financial objectives (gross and net sales volume, trade spend, pricing, margin, retail sales and dollar share) through business and sales analytics support (weekly trends and distribution/promotional performance reporting) and business planning support (item/financial management, forecasting, promotions, line reviews). This role will interact cross functionally with the Ahold Delhaize Sales, Supply, Sales Strategy & Planning, RGM, and Demand Planning teams. This role requires strong functional and technical skills, analytical and financial acumen, planning and organizational skills and leveraging data and insights to generate actionable results.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's Degree


• 1+ years' experience working with retailers in sales, category, analytics, or similar in the CPG industry


• Strong functional and technical, category, shopper, business acumen, and planning and process management skills


• Proficiency In Nielsen, GFK, or IRI highly preferred

What would be your key responsibilities?

• Provide continual analysis of business performance with actionable Insights


• Consistently analyze consumption data to deliver actionable insights including key Mars and Retailer metrics: sales, supply, margin, share, households


• Develop Insights & actions for customer account team to explain drivers of business performance across all post event analysis metrics - promotional activity, display sell through, new distribution


• Support Sales team In all business operations and reporting necessary to drive the business


• Support monthly gross sales volume forecasting process: base run rates, growth drivers execution timing/expectations, supply considerations, etc. Support in demand planning reviews and submissions.


• Support data pulls and insights generation to enable distribution and activation sell-in
