Position Summary

Thales requires a Production Manager on the Personalization Production team. As a Production Manager, you will manage the direction and results of operations at the North Kingstown personalization facility in accordance with senior management policies and plans.

           

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Lead production team to achieve KPI targets related to output, overall equipment efficiency, service level agreements, healthy attendance, effective and efficient productivity rate, zero safety and security breaches and zero non-conformance on certification requirements


• Proactively understand customer needs and operational concerns and ensure that customer updates or requests are communicated


• Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of I–Care and non-conformity relating to the product, process and quality system


• Support Process Team Coaches in the development of collaborative, autonomous teams, focused self-directed understanding and improving processes


• Actively support ISO9001, ISO45001, PCI certifications and 5S Strategy


• Conduct performance reviews

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other related field


• 3-5 year’s management experience working in a manufacturing environment


• Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint


• An understanding of Quality and security standards in the Perso environment


• Experience with production and operations planning and strategic managerial skills


• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
