Job Description:

Overview of the Role:

Alignment Healthcare is seeking a member experience support clerk for a long-term temporary engagement (with medical benefits) in our Orange, CA office headquarters to provide clerical support to the member experience department and other respective units.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Pacific Time

Responsibilities:


  • Process and track of daily incoming member correspondence into the member database.
  • Maintain department miscellaneous filing in an organized fashion.
  • Keep inventory of department supplies and submit work orders as needed according to department budget.
  • Assist with fulfillment of member plan material requests received via CRM.
  • Assist with return mail processing.
  • Process billed invoices for processing and payment.
  • Retrieve incoming call center messages for agent distribution.
  • Perform all clerical duties deemed necessary to ensure smooth functioning of the department.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the department supervisor.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong computer proficiency
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Able to type 30 word per minute (WPM) by 10-key touch
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Language Skills: Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Mathematical Skills: Able to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Able to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Reasoning Skills: Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

PAY: $37,440 - $43,480 ANNUALLY
