Location: New Orleans, LA
Summary
The Office of Research ProposalDevelopment Biostatistician functions as part of a university-wide team toassist faculty in the preparation and submission of federal grant and contractproposals. This individual provides biostatistics and bioinformatics supportfor faculty from a range of fields, including physical and biological sciences,medicine, public health, engineering, information and computer sciences, andsocial sciences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in biostatistics,epidemiology, or related field and
- One year of professional experience providingstatistical and data management support
- Master's degree in biostatistics,epidemiology, or related field and one year of professional experienceproviding statistical and data management support
- Strong familiarity with researchstrategies and protocols
- Experience in the academic environment
