Key Responsibilities:


Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified Material Logistics Operator (IV) to support the Supply Chain team to ensure the company's goals and initiatives are met.


This role will work in a team environment to produce, warehouse, and ship quality finished cases and work in process (WIP) components, work the Palletizers, load rails & trucks with finished goods product. These operators are also responsible for fueling, material handling, and handling chemical totes. Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.


Additional Responsibilities:



  • Logistics Operators work the Palletizers, load rails & trucks with finished goods product. These operators are also responsible for fueling, material handling, and handling chemical totes

  • Operators perform multi-functions, multi-tasks of various levels and breadth of technology

  • Ensure finished products and component materials meet quality specifications

  • Safely operate all Palletizing equipment to meet production schedules including but not limited to: Palletizers, Scanners, Label Machines, Stretch wrappers, Conveyors, Forklifts, Man-lifts, etc.

  • Safely maintain all Palletizing equipment to meet production schedules

  • Perform quality checks to ensure proper packaging, coding, products, and other materials are correctly used in the production run

  • Responsible for full Rail Car preparation (pre-load). This includes but not limited to: Opening car doors, cleaning out car, setting up car for loading

  • Responsible for Rail Car Dunnage preparation, separation (serviceable from non-serviceable), organization, disposal, inventory checks, and staging

  • Responsible for track and dock sanitation. This includes but is not limited to cleaning & sorting equipment, lumber, and rail bed


Requirements:



  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Valid forklift license

  • Minimum of 5 years forklift experience within a warehouse or manufacturing environment

  • Experience with gravity fed racking systems / palletizing

  • Experience with a warehouse computerized system

  • CDL license a plus

  • Must be able to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions

  • Must be able to work at least 12 hours a day and up to 7days a week when necessary

  • Must be able to work productively without direct supervision and be willing to flow-to-work to assist the team as needed

  • Must comply with all department rules. (Safety, GMPs, Sanitation and Housekeeping)

  • Must be able to work with computer software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Zarpac and ADC, WMS, Dashpad

  • Must be able to twist, reach, bend, lift a minimum of 5O pounds, push 5O pounds, pull 5O pounds, and climb as needed


Purpose:



  • Maintain facility premises according to Tropicana guidelines for cleanliness and to support production efforts as needed

  • Maintain facility in a sanitary condition to meet GMP, OSHA, USDA, FDA, and AIB standards

  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Tropicana Brands Group Values and Code of Conduct

  • Promote a positive team environment

  • Build the capability of the organization through training


Safety:



  • Ensure all safety rules, procedures, policies, and GMP are followed

  • Set the example for other by demonstrating adherence to safety rules, procedures, policies, and GMP



  • Proactively and aggressively address safety gaps

  • Participate in department safety audits and department walk-throughs



Pay for this position is $20.34 /hr
