<b>Job Description:</b><br><br> We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer - Intermediate for a very important client.<br><br><b>Requirement:</b><br><br>This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:<br><br>* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience<br><br>* Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages: Python, Java, C, C++, Go, JCL, REXX, PERL, PHP, JYTHON, zOSMF Workflows, J2EE, MVC, JDBC, Servlets, JSP, HTML, JQuery, AngularJS, JSON and XML<br><br>* Advanced experience working with two or more from the following: web application development, database, unix/linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, information retrieval, networking, large scale software development, security software development<br><br>* Understanding or have experience with agile and lean philosophies<br><br>* Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills with clear communication<br><br>* Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals<br><br>* Strong knowledge of zOSConnect (aka zOSC or zCEE) on the mainframe Build, configure and trouble shoot issues.<br><br>* Proficient across WebSphere (WAS) Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations), Design (compliance, security) and Connectivity (planning, securing)<br><br>* Strong knowledge of server side design patterns and continuous delivery principles<br><br>* Ability to articulate and share clear, concise complex technical findings to management in understandable terms<br><br>* Intermediate/Strong proficiency in these key areas:<br><br>* WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and zOSConnect/zCEE<br><br>* JAVA<br><br>* TCP/IP, Certificates, AT-TLS, Keyring, Keystore<br><br>* Experience with USS (dire<br><br>Additional Skills:<br>Knowledge and experience with zOSConnect (aka zOSC or zCEE) on the mainframe<br><br>Ability to consultatively articulate complex technical<br>findings to more experienced management in clear,<br>concise, understandable terms<br>§ Proficient knowledge and understanding in the<br>following key areas:<br>§ Hardware Architecture (performance testing,<br>monitoring, operations)<br>§ Hardware Benchmarking (Agile, program<br>managements, network management)<br>§ Design (compliance, security)<br>§ Network Engineering (planning, provision)<br>§ Proficient in more than one specific infrastructure<br>technology<br>§ Executes against understanding of best practices and<br>Client policies<br>#PandoPandoLogic.
