Job Description:

Our client, a distinguished private educational institution, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Accountant/ Accounting Manager to join their team!



Position Overview:

The Accounting Manager will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of the school. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and supporting the school's mission through sound financial management. The ideal candidate will have experience in non-profit accounting, preferably within a private educational setting, and will be a strong communicator with a team-oriented mindset.

• Direct hire


• On-site 5 days a week in Brentwood


• $80,000 - $110,000/year based on experience

Qualifications:

• 
  Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  


• 
  Active CPA, currently CPA tracking, or inactive CPA
  


• 3+ years of experience


• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).


• Experience in non-profit accounting, ideally within a private educational institution.


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.


• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment.


• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.


• Experience with Blackbaud is a plus
