Job Description:

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Case Manager for a possible Temp-to-Hire position in Silver Spring. The Case Manager will be responsible for managing client cases from intake to settlement or trial. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a good understanding of personal injury law and procedures.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Conduct initial client interviews and gather detailed information about the case.

  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and answering questions.

  • Ensure clients understand the legal process and their case status.

  • Open new case files and maintain organized and up-to-date client files.

  • Collect, review, and organize medical records, police reports, and other pertinent documents.

  • Prepare and draft demand letters, correspondence, and other legal documents.

  • Schedule and coordinate medical appointments, depositions, and court appearances.

  • Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.

  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law and statutes.

  • Monitor deadlines and manage the case calendar to ensure timely filings and responses.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed case notes and billing records.

  • Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in legal studies, paralegal studies, or a related field, a plus.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in case management personal injury law.

  • Strong understanding of personal injury law, legal procedures, and medical terminology.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
