Controller - Healthcare Services at Kforce Inc in Signal Hill, California

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a large health care services enterprise headquartered in Signal Hill, CA, is hiring a Controller. This is an exciting high impact role working with some of the most highly regarded leaders in the industry. This is a company that is known for its best in class processes.

Summary:
As a Controller, you will take the processes for this specific company to the next level. You will get to think and contribute like an Owner and be compensated like an Owner. This is a large enterprise that should offer you both stability but the ability to have large positive impact. This role will be heavily in office to start - 4-5 days a week. Eventually, this could become more of a classic 3/2 hybrid work schedule.

Duties will include:

• Month-end close


• Financial statement preparation


• Improving processes and systems; This company just consolidated on NetSuite


• Managing a corporate accounting team


• Year end close


• Supporting the CFO and FP&A team, getting them the data and reporting they need for them to their jobs


• External Audit support

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Advanced degree a plus


• CPA


• Public accounting experience


• Experience in health care services


• Experiences in an IPA or an MSO is a plus


• Big 4 experience a plus


• Experience with physician focused health care businesses a plus


• NetSuite experience a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
