Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a stable and growing real estate development company is seeking a Controller to join their team in North Kingstown, RI. The client offers strong benefits, Dental, vision and retirement plan with employer match. This position will be fully on-site.

Duties:

• As the Controller your duty will be to oversee and manage the financial activities of the company


• Prepare financial statements


• Budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations


• Month-end close


• Assist the CFO with annual audits


• Ensure accuracy of financial transactions


• Assist with Cash Flow


• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS degree in Accounting or similar


• CPA preferred not required


• 5-7 years progressive and responsible experience in Accounting and Financial services


• Time management and organizational skills


• Leadership and team management


• Proficiency in accounting software and applications: Great Plains, GAAP/GASB, Grant Accounting, MSOffice Suite


• Attention to detail


• Problem-solving skills


• Leadership, Communication, and Interpersonal skills are required

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
