Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Payroll Specialist in Reston, VA.

Duties:

• Payroll Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate payroll records for multiple companies


• Conduct thorough reviews of payroll audit reports to ensure accuracy


• Manage employee deductions and other liabilities, including reconciliation


• Handle payroll tax filings and compliance


• Supervise day-to-day activities of assigned staff


• As a Payroll Specialist, you will drive process improvements and exceptional client service


• Oversee year-end W-2 reconciliation


• Collaborate with leadership on payroll strategy


• Establish and maintain payroll controls and procedures

REQUIREMENTS:

• To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed


• Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
