Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Mooresville, NC.

Summary:
We are looking for a Data Engineer that will be responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines to efficiently load data from various sources into Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data pipelines with Spark with Scala to ingest, transform, and load data from diverse sources into GCP


• Senior Data Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement scalable solutions


• Build, schedule, and monitor workflows with Python and Airflow

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong background in Spark and Scala/Python


• Exposure to SQL, Airflow, and GCP (DataProc, BQ), not required but a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
