Job Description:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Product Manager I in Mountain View, CA. This is a Hybrid role, and the manager is ok for SF, MTV or SDG office (will prefer MTV).

Duties:


  • Product Manager I handles many of the oversight duties involved in getting a product from the concept stage to the production stage; Work to maximize product by foreseeing customer and market demands

  • Typically, in charge of ensuring that best practices are followed, goals are met, and projects and related operations are conducted effectively

  • Often in charge of coordinating marketing, sales, and other product-implementation strategies to ensure that operations are properly conducted

  • Serves as a liaison between stakeholders and the development/implementation teams

  • Must evaluate the market to find ways to better serve the customers and increase profitability

  • Transform business and market strategies into do-able, defined product plans

  • As a Product Manager I, you will lead market research and position conversations to ensure viable products and balanced growth

  • Define and document product requirements and roadmaps for execution and sales

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for every stage of product development







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Typically have extensive experience and training in various aspects of business and commerce

  • Experience in Agile development methodologies and working knowledge of product management tools, such as JIRA or Asana, to manage product backlog, sprint planning, and delivery

  • Must have knowledge of technical processes, adherence to marketing guidelines, and familiarity of business strategies

  • Proactive, leadership-oriented, and familiar with the needs of the company and the customer base

  • Must be able to communicate effectively, analyze data from numerous inputs, and provide direction and guidance to their subordinates

  • Strong understanding of enterprise platform product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, with a track record of successfully managing and launching new products that meet both customer needs and business goals

  • Ability to gather and analyze customer feedback, industry trends, and data insights to define and prioritize product roadmap, features, and enhancements that align with customer needs and business goals

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, and customer success, to ensure timely product delivery and customer satisfaction

  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and willingness to take ownership and drive initiatives forward to deliver successful outcomes

Preferred:

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of learning management system (LMS) solutions and e-learning tools, including a track record of successfully managing and launching new learning products and features for enterprise customers

Interview Process:

  • First round: 30 minutes with you

  • Second round: 60+ minutes with a panel team consisting of 2-3 interviewers






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
