The job holder is the Global Deployment Senior Scientist working within the Central R&D team, responsible for advancing technical readiness to accelerate the deployment of opportunities in support of the Pet Nutrition business through effective collaboration and engagement of key cross-functional stakeholders at receiving sites.

What are we looking for?
Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Technology/Science or science related technical field


• 3+ years experience in research and development (CPG preferred)


• Ability to demonstrate a proven track record in related technologies (pet food preferred)


• Good understanding of relevant manufacturing processes. Including a good understanding of how raw material interacts with manufacturing technologies (pet food preferred)


• Technical Project Management experience and expertise

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Technology/Science or science related technical field


• Proven ability to work in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment


• Proven ability to transfer technical knowledge and skills

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Responsible to deliver on time in full deployment activities as described within the Global Innovation Process (GIP) to advance technical readiness of innovation for follower units and accelerate its implementation.


• Collects, consolidates and analyzes follower unit relevant information to inform the framing/scoping of global innovation brief (GIB) and science and technology project brief.


• Brings global perspective on potential design limitations and hurdles for follower unit and leads the Viability and Feasibility risk assessment at each stage gate (including raw material availability and registration, product performance, regulatory, claims risk assessment, capital requirements, etc.)


• Responsible to assess the global learning plan against regional hurdles/needs and proactively complements those plans in alignment with follower units accordingly.


• Accountable for the delivery of deployment blueprints and playbooks in partnership with Global product design teams and marketing to ensure best in class knowledge management of global innovation.


• Responsible to support brands expansions, transfers of new product and technologies globally, in line with demand and business supply initiatives.


• Responsible to effectively manage project risks and to inform and influence the project team and key stakeholders, including effective communication and planning of additional Central R&D project activities to support a deployment including identification of key project milestones and deliverables.
