Registered Nurse Phone Triage - Arizona Remote - Evernorth Care Group at Cigna in Bloomfield, Connecticut

We're looking for a Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced, customer-focused primary care/adult medicine CALL CENTER team for Evernorth Care Group across the Phoenix Valley.

Work hours: Typically, Monday-Friday 8:15 a.m.-5:15 p.m. - Remote role, MUST live in the State of Arizona.

Responsibilities:

• Triage patient calls and concerns, make outreach calls to patients' post-hospitalization and after visiting the emergency room.


• Support the clinicians to help manage the complex healthcare needs of patients, support the back and front office staff with regards to patient's concerns or center needs


• Maintain supportive relationships with multi-disciplinary team members in order to provide the best comprehensive care possible for our patients.


• Help answer questions, concerns, and requests, through our EHR EPIC and patient portal.


• Accurately follow all policies and procedures while providing excellent customer service.


• Practice in alignment with the scope of your licensure.


• Properly document your efforts of all the care and information provided to our patients.


• Appropriately manage ambiguity and recognize appropriate ways to deal with conflict management.


• All other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:

• RN License to practice in the state of Arizona


• High school diploma or GED certificate


• BCLS Certification


• Excellent customer skills, and care deeply about providing empathetic, quality care to customers


• Previous experience in a healthcare environment


• Experience working with Microsoft Office and comfortable with data entry

Preferred qualifications:

• 1+ year experience with Triage


• ACLS Certification


• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 30 - 45 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
