Job Description:


Position Summary




The Law Department provides business and legal support to the Company's operations in the United States and Europe. The Corporate Counsel (US) is responsible for supporting the Company's (including affiliated entities', as needed) business by providing legal advice and contract review and negotiation services, with emphasis on North American operations.

Responsibilities





  • Review, revise, and negotiate client-based agreements
  • Review and approve proposed line-item exceptions to the Company's client, contractor and staff agreements
  • Review and prepare ancillary agreements including confidentiality and non-compete agreements
  • Support RFP response efforts
  • Review, revise, and negotiate contract amendments and extensions
  • Provide consultant wage and hour classification analysis
  • Conduct legal research related on transactional or regulatory matters
  • Provide assistance to other team members, including Senior Corporate Counsels, Paralegals, and General Counsel, as needed
  • Other duties as assigned




Additional Responsibilities






Skills





  • JD from accredited law school
  • Admission to the Bar in at least one state is required, Massachusetts is preferred
  • Ability to convey legal advice clearly and effectively
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
  • Team player and consensus builder with an ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize simultaneous responsibilities
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills, follow-up, and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated track record of successful performance of job duties
  • Ability and willingness to learn new things
  • Proven knowledge of MS Office products
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and work all hours necessary or required
