Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Web Content Writer I. The contract duration is 6 months. The candidate can be anywhere in US (preferred someone from West Coast).

Key Tasks:

• Web Content Writer will be responsible for generating quality written materials that will attract visitors to their organization's website


• Responsible for writing materials for the website, and they may need to edit content from other writers as well


• Help find and/or create images and other visual elements to go along with written materials, as well as ensure that search engine optimization (SEO) best practices are followed


• May be responsible for moderating and/or contributing to discussions in the website's comment section; contributing to organizational social media accounts may be needed as well


• As a Web Content Writer, you will often work with other content producers within their organization, excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills are required


• Gather and research information that enhances the value of the site


• Work with marketing and graphics designers to ensure consistency


• Write, edit, and develop web site content


• Gather user feedback for website improvement and enhancements


• Work with a cross-functional team to review and update the company library of self-help content, quickly gaining familiarity with the company


• Make recommendations applicable across multiple channels or platforms


• Write new content and reformat existing content as needed to adhere to publishing guidelines


• Review content after publication to ensure clarity and consistency


• Use data to perform reviews based on quantitative data and customer feedback


• Propose creative ideas on how to improve the customer experience


• Interviews: 1 round of interview (30-45 minutes)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree mandatory


• Experience using CMS


• Writing skills


• Editing skills


• Adapting CMS


• Worked with Financial product or Financial Writing


• Tools used: WordPress


• An understanding of SEO techniques and the ability to engage consumers are needed

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
