This widely known association is looking for a temporary to hire Communications & Digital Assistant to join their team! Ideal candidates will have previous Drupal experience, proficiency in MS Office, and are able to create compelling communications while adhering to style guides. About the Job:
* Coordinate various special programs including member resources and awards programs.
* Create and edit website, social media, and other digital content.
* Execute media relations plans and leverage new opportunities.
* Monitor job boards and email and support members through a live chat.
* Provide meeting coordination and onsite conference support.


About You:
* A bachelor's degree in communications or a related field is required.
* 1+ years of digital content creation, media relations, or communication experience is required.
* Drupal experience is highly preferred; Proficiency in MS Office suite is required.
* Adaptable to following instructions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Ability to travel up to 5% of the year.


About the Position:
* $20/hr-$24/hr, while temporary.
* $50K-$55K when permanent.
* Temporary to permanent position.
* 100% onsite in Arlington, VA.
