What You'll Do



The Registered Member Experience Representative is a critical member experience role responsible for delivering a collaborative member experience and generating revenue for LTCU through interviewing members, analyzing their needs and recommending and selling appropriate credit union, investment and/or insurance products and services. Maintains required license and education/training to become proficient in all aspects of Registered Representative position. Work and foster a positive, team-oriented environment within CU, developing productive working relationships cross-departmentally. Assist Financial Advisors in the areas of customer service, referrals, problem resolution, marketing and staff training, to increase member satisfaction and the productivity and efficiency of the Financial Life Planning Program. Schedule initial and follow-up reviews/appointments with members within a branch or call center environment.


  • Obtain and maintains FINRA licensing (Series 7 and Series 63) along with Life/Health insurance license and education/training to remain proficient in the Registered Member Experience Representative Position.


  • Observe appropriate policies and procedures consistent with the National Credit Union Association's Letter to Federal Credit Unions on the Sales of Nondeposit Investments, 10-FCU-03 ("NCUA Letter"), in connection with sales activities involving nondeposit investment products including the proper use of disclosures and separation of duties between Credit Union products and products offered through Broker/Dealer.


  • Analyze member needs and recommending and selling appropriate credit union and investment and/or insurance products and services. Become proficient at college planning .Perform MEA duties as required.


  • Collaborate as point person on referrals assisting FLP Sales assistant and FLP Advisors. Schedule follow-up reviews/appointments with members.


  • Creates, proposes, and implements financial management program to member including cross-selling LTCU products and services to complete financial plan. (Includes preparing a written financial plan or illustration of products.)



What You'll Bring



  • Proven superior interpersonal and communication skills


  • Ability to meet Broker/Dealer registration requirements


  • High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, insurance or related field preferred.


  • Understanding of investment and insurance concepts and proven referral leader a plus


  • SIE (Securities Industry Essential), Series 7, Series 66, Life/Health Insurance required or completed within 18 months of placement in position

  • FINRA background check (fingerprints are required)
