Responsible for coordinating mass communications sent to prospective new students and families, as well as returning residents, regarding on-campus housing. Responsible for creating social media updates for the Assignments area and submitting updates to the Marketing Coordinator for website changes related to Assignments. Responds to complex or escalated housing contract/assignment related customer service complaints and concerns. Responds situations of a non-routine nature that may require research to formulate a response.
The position is responsible for coordinating and supervising student staff. This includes recruiting staff members to always ensure a fully staffed office, training OPS workers on cyclical contract assignment processes, and developing customer service and professional office skills for student staff members.
Responsible for coordinating (administers, enforces, acts on, executes, contributes, facilitates, implement, enact) the assignments process, including testing contract functions in the housing management system, reviews and makes adjustments to financial transactions to student files related to assignment changes or cancellations, performs exception processing/processes requests for exceptions related to housing assignments/contracts.
Responsible for coordinating on-campus recruiting programs, including Spring Admitted Student Days tours and information sessions, returning resident open house, tours and hall information sessions for special groups as requested by campus partners and DSA leadership. Recruiting new residents for the halls.
This position works with the Assistant Director to coordinate the process and assignments for special program participants. Serves as a backup to the Assistant Director.
QualificationsBachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma/equivalent and six years of experience.
(Note: a combination of post-high school education and experience equal to six years.)
