The Marketing Department in the Nistler College of Business and Public Administration invites applicants for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Marketing with primary responsibilities in teaching, research, and service. The NCoBPA is accredited by AACSB and is the largest school of business in North Dakota and serves an average of 1425 undergraduate students and 350 graduate students per year. The Marketing Department boasts a growing marketing major (235 students enrolled on campus, 30 enrolled online), and a growing professional sales minor (33 enrolled). The successful candidate will have the ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the field of Marketing, develop and maintain a program of research in the field of Marketing leading to journal publications, and serve effectively in the department, college, university, and academy. Duties include research leading to high quality publications in the marketing discipline, a balanced teaching load, and service to the Department, College, and University and the Academy. The candidate's contributions should align with the missions and strategic plans of the university, college, and department. Department vision is growth of sales minor into a major and ultimate sales center. Candidates who have expertise in effectively teaching marketing foundations, marketing research, marketing analytics, marketing management, strategic market planning, and/or sales are especially encouraged to apply
