Salary/Position Classification
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
1. Complete and maintain membership in professional organizations (local, state, and national).
2. Attend workshops, seminars, conferences, and enroll in college courses that promote one's professional growth.
3. Practice use of ideas and knowledge acquired, sharing this information with other staff.
4. Maintain familiarity and meet minimum requirements as indicated by the ND Child Care Center Early Childhood Services -Chapter 75-
03-10, Licensing Rules and Regulations. Adhere to these policies to the best of your ability.
5. Attend the appropriate amount of certified training annually.
6. Keep current on Early Childhood Education and Child Care issues.
Leadership

* Upon being hired, UCLC will provide the following:
Enrollment in North Dakota Growing Futures training program for childcare professional development.
Basic child care course from North Dakota Growing Futures called, "Getting Started" .
This must be completed within 90 days of employment
CPR/First Aid/AED training. This must be completed within 60 days of employment
ND Mandated Reporter Training
*Successfully complete a Criminal Background Check - includes fingerprinting.
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.
* Experience working with children 3-5 years old.
* Focus on early childhood education, child development, elementary education, nursing, occupational therapy, or related fields.
