The Senior Client Data Analyst:

·       Works with complex customer-specific data from various sources to support the analysis of claim cost patterns and trends, then provides insights and recommendations to lead analyst, management or underwriter under strict time constraints. 

·       Data may include medical, pharmacy and ancillary information. 

·       Assists more junior analysts in the development of data and the subsequent recommendations. 

·       Participates in intra and inter department projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

·       Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

·       5 + years related experience to include 2 or more years of Health Care data experience and/or programming and data analysis.

·       Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft office suite of products (Access, Word and Excel),

·       Strong analytical and math skills required along with the ability to understand and manipulate large amounts of diverse information into useful information that often includes predictive results.  The ability to communicate analytical results in both written and verbal formats.

Must have an Android or iOS device which is compatible with the free Microsoft Authenticator app.

Independence has implemented a “Hybrid” model which consists of Associates working in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) and remotely 2 days a week (Monday & Friday). This role is designated as a role that fits into the “Hybrid” model. While associates may work remotely on our designated remote days, the work must be performed in the Tri-State Area of Delaware, New Jersey or Pennsylvania.
