Position: Staff Technical Program Manager



Location: 860 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086



Duties: Own and drive several complex programs and form a portfolio of workstreams that are geared towards achieving business goals of different market segments. Own and drive complex, multi-disciplinary, and multi-product technology projects using techno-functional expertise. Ensure planning through deep discovery, scope, and feature set of programs, understand and articulate detailed requirements with internal customers, and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing schedules, identifying risks, and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. Understand systems interdependencies and lead cross-functional teams towards technical solutions. Explain analyses and recommendations to executives and discuss the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers. Proactively and effectively communicate program statuses, identify potential risks and setbacks, and develop mitigation strategies. Develop best practices in a changing and dynamic environment to ensure on time delivery. Ensure program documents are complete, current, and available for staff and leadership review. Drive and contribute to resource planning to ensure program success and drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions. This position does not supervise employees.



Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Any), or related area and 3 years of experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Any), or related area and 5 years of experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.



Skills required: Demonstrated knowledge of the implementation phases of technical projects, including the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post- phases. Experience with project management. Experience gathering business requirements from stakeholders and converting them into technical requirements. Experience managing prioritizations with engineering teams. Experience working with product and engineering teams to define team needs, metrics, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and to articulate the technology, requirements, goals, and milestones of the team. Experience completing root cause analysis of different workflows to quantify problems and goals and identify priorities. Experience with the following technologies and tools: Computer Vision, Android SDK, RESTful APIs, and GIT. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.




Salary Range: $158,746/year to $286,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
