Position: Senior Manager, Data Science



Job Location: 640 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086



Duties: Build strategic network design models and perform various analysis to evaluate future network needs including facility locations and capacities such as cube, SKU, and throughput. Extract and transform data from various databases using SQL and prepare for modeling using tools such as Python and Excel while visualizing model results using Tableau Dashboards. Engage with cross-functional teams including Finance and Supply Chain Operations to collect various business inputs and develop a robust future network of facilities that satisfies various customer/business needs. Interact with the Data Science team to develop complex flow optimization models and utilize tools such as CPLEX/Gurobi and Operations Research/Data Science techniques to guide model development processes. Publish and communicate model results to business stakeholders and leadership to obtain alignment on future network strategy. Guide new associates on data extraction and model development. This position does not supervise other employees.




Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related field and 3 years of experience in an analytics related field; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related field and 5 years of experience in an analytics related field.



Skills required: Experience with SQL to extract and transform data. Experience building supply chain solutions using mathematical models and heuristics to solve business needs. Experience visualizing and communicating model recommended decisions using Tableau. Experience coding in Python and R to build customized and automated solutions. Experience utilizing operations research to build, implement, and test complex optimization models in CPLEX and Gurobi. Experience applying Machine Learning techniques to enhance optimization model performance. Experience using business analytics to formulate and solve a business problem. Experience building User Interface using CSS and Javascript. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.




Salary Range: $143,874/year to $286,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
